Privacy policy – spellwin.jetzt

Scope of this notice
This privacy policy explains how Spellwin — specifically the independent review portal at spellwin.jetzt — collects and handles personal data. It covers this portal only. If you follow a link through to the operator's own platform and register an account there, the operator's separate privacy policy governs whatever data you provide to them; that falls entirely outside our control.
The portal is operated as an independent information and marketing site. We are not a gambling operator, and we do not process player account data, payment details or wagers. The data we handle is limited to what reaches us through normal website operation.
This notice is written in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Categories of information this portal processes
We collect two broad categories of data, and we keep them narrow by design.
Technical and usage data. When you visit spellwin.jetzt your browser automatically sends information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the page you came from, and which pages you viewed. This is standard server-log data; it reaches us even if you do nothing else on the site.
Analytics tools (see "Sharing" below) process this data in aggregate to help us understand which content is useful and how the site performs. We do not build individual profiles from it.
Contact submissions. If you write to us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use that information only to respond to your enquiry. We do not add it to any mailing list or share it with third parties for marketing.
We do not collect names, postal addresses, payment information, or any special-category data (health, biometrics, financial records). We do not run a registration system — there is no account to create on this portal.
Lawful basis for processing
We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests — for server logs and aggregated analytics, where our interest in understanding site performance is balanced against a minimal intrusion on your privacy.
- Contract performance / pre-contractual steps — for responding to contact-form submissions, where processing your email address is necessary to answer your question.
- Consent — for any non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising) placed after you accept them via our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share limited data with the following categories of service provider, who act as processors on our behalf:
- Web hosting and infrastructure — to store and serve the portal's pages.
- Analytics — aggregated, pseudonymised usage data to measure site performance. These providers are contractually bound to use the data only for that purpose.
- Advertising networks — where consent has been given, cookies from advertising partners may be set. These partners operate under their own privacy policies.
No personal data is transferred outside the UK or European Economic Area without adequate safeguards in place (such as standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant supervisory authority).
Your controls and UK GDPR rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete data we no longer have a lawful basis to hold.
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data while a concern is resolved.
- Portability — receive data you provided to us in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — for any processing based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at [email protected]. We will respond within one calendar month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
We retain server logs for no longer than 12 months. Contact-submission data is kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter, after which it is deleted.
Protecting minors
This portal covers gambling products and is intended strictly for adults. Access is restricted to persons aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Parents and guardians who share a device with younger family members are encouraged to use parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio to restrict access to gambling-related content.
Changes to this notice
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we add new functionality or if regulatory requirements change. The current version is always available at spellwin.jetzt/privacy-policy. Material changes will be signalled by updating the date below.
